Everett Firefighters Local 46 is the sole bargaining agent representing the firefighters of the City of Everett. It seeks to promote a safe, harmonious and progressive work environment between the city and employees in order to better serve the citizens of Everett to whom we have sworn to protect.
The Everett Fire Department employs 180 career firefighters who serve nearly 100,000 residents across 45 square miles. Of the 180 firefighters, 37 are also Paramedics.
Everett’s firefighters respond from six fire stations throughout the city limits of Everett with six fire engines, two ladder trucks, one Aid unit, three Paramedic units and one Battalion Chief command unit. The department also supports a Hazardous Materials Team and Technical Rescue Team
Everett Fire Department operates a four-platoon department with a minimum of 33 personnel on duty 24 hours a day seven days a week. In 2009, the department responded to more than 18,000 fire and emergency medical incidents.

Everett City Council Meeting Minutes
City Council Meetings are held every Wednesday evening. The weekly meetings, except for the fourth Wednesday of each month, begin at 6:31 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The fourth Wednesday of each month the meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. |
